In 2021 our old boat, Kirsty, will be 100 years old. Although essentially a collection of planks, many lives have connected with this vessel in a myriad of ways. From the men who carefully built her to those who have lovingly sailed in her over the last century, she has many a story to tell.
Exploration and research is underway, starting at the yard on Bute where she was built.

In June 2018 I spent time in Shetland researching the concept of 'belonging': what it means to belong to a place, a person, a country - how it might originate and consequently express itself in a myriad of ways.
